Description

Babette and two other Mex have shown the crew to their "quarters" - the dungeon - and locked them in. Maria(Bot) and Rusty(Mog) are delighted to see them - have you come to rescue us? they want to know. The Chompers explain what has happened. Maria: "You can't trust the Mex - they're all insane; and what they told you about 'Hunters' isn't true; the Mex hunt humans down here; you must have met one of the few humans left. The Spidron was left here ages ago by some other robot group; he hunts anyone and anything. You didn't destroy him or the other droids, did you?" Chomper 487 (pink): "Just confused them till we got past." Scrappy: "How long have you been here?" Maria: "No idea. We crash-landed; the Mex came out to help us, but they stuck us down here and -" Chomper 576 (green): "Your human crew?" Maria: "I think you can guess. It's the hair; the Mex think it makes them more human. And - you don't want to know about - but - have you got human crew with you?" Chomper 289 (orange): "Two officers." Rusty: "Mex will kill them." Maria: "They're safe until one of the Mex wants a new hairstyle." Chomper 487: "Got to get out of here and rescue them; how many Mex are there?" Maria: "Not more than a dozen left here, I think - but there may be others elesewhere on the planet." Chomper 487 goes over to the dungeon door, examines it closely. Chomper 289: "We can disable them, you know - they've a weak point - the wires on their joints - cut them and they'll fall down. Any weapons down here?" Maria: "Some old swords and knives over there, mostly broken and rusty." Chomper 487, returning from the door: "Paper?" Maria: "Pardon?" Chomper 487: "Sheet of paper, newspaper or something like." Rusty: "Over there, next to that pile of skulls." Chomper 576:" What's the paper for?" Chomper 487: "Use your eyes. That's an old-fashioned lock on the door, isn't it? And Babette's left the key in, hasn't she?" Chomper 576: "On the other side, though; not on ours!" Chomper 487: "And there's a big gap under the door, right?" Chomper 576: "Not enough for any of us to squeeze through." Chomper 487: "Now, I remember a film Alice and Dorothy took us to, where someone escaped by pushing the key out of the lock from inside so that it fell onto a piece of paper; and then they pulled the paper under the door to their side, and unlocked the door and got out." Maria: "Brilliant!" Chomper 289: "Any idea, Maria, where the Mex might have a transmitter?" Maria: "Upstairs; they gutted our ship for anything that might come in handy - but I've no idea what might still be working." Chomper 289: "Oh I'll get it working, even if I have to use all Scrappy's batteries!" Scrappy: "You and whose army?"

A real board gierre it seems! The Dungeon is a headquarters support conspiracies! Your robots seem to apply the 3 rules of Asimov to men but not for spam ... hence the cutting tip son who appear to joints ... just like human tendons of the knees or heels! why the robot 487 does not speak does not it? (No, no, I know it's a joke!)

Really good story an dialogue. I glad you added more story to your renders. Maria is one of my favorites and I'm sure the boys will save her and her friend. And the render itself ecxellent as always!
