Description
I took these last Saturday - Same garden - Mid afternoon & after dark - I did nothing to the photo’s other than resize for posting - I don’t know how much post work is done to what I see here - I know I almost always have to play with a image before I post it - I don’t know if that makes it better or just different form the original - and I would miss not doing my post work - But I do at times question the act as a type of photo manipulation - It would be interesting to but probably not practical to have a no post work section in Photography - But I will leave that to the powers that be and share my little example for your considerations - My second ulterior motive is just to try and keep my work interesting - Many have much better tools/equipment and there location gives them subject matter that is unbelievable - That can be a hard act to follow - So I try to give you images that have some meaning or substance and find new ideas - not just be a Photographicer want to be ! But that takes time practice and talent - Time is not a problem but the talent thing is always in question - Well enough of that stuff - enjoy and Take Care all !

Two excellent captures and daffodils are such cheerful flowers to have. I just bought two huge bags of daffodils to plant down my driveway so I hope they bloom like this next spring.

There is a misnomer in thinking that says great photographers do not use postwork. I have had the opportunity to talk to several professional and published photographers and they have all told me that postwork is essential - it is the amount and the skill in applying it that counts. If you look at a photograph and can tell postwork has been applied, then it is too much. These are gorgeous shots and the comparison in night and day is clear.
