Description
Today I was back photographing Herons - Standing on the edge of the Mississippi River intently focused on the island - Something caught my eye - Here this guy way swimming right in front of me - These are very shy animals and avoid people at all cost - he did not realize I was there until I moved my camera to photograph him - I had my camera set on rapid fire fortunately - Kind of a rare opportunity on what was otherwise a rather uneventful day - Hope you enjoy as much as I - It is such a rare event to catch something like this - Thank you for viewing & As always Take Care -

A lovely capture of this animal! Love the way you've put it together and presented this..... Excellent capture of the water as well, and those tiny ripples are most soothing!

I really love how you made this.. Nice work. And I love going out looking for Herons in my area, and on occasion I have seen Mustrats in the streams, they are fun to watch
