My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

What a fantastic pano you've done here! Beautiful work!

What a wonderful view. Looks like you are standing in front of the Shedd Aquarium's outside deck and shooting all the way around the waterfront to the Navy Pier on the right. Chicago has a showcase of architectural gems in all of their tall buildings (I know, I've been reading about them). On another trip...we need to make time for one or two of the many architectural tours...in addition to hours upon hours of lively conversation among Rendo friends and eating at Reza's:) This is a great pano...technically, as well as aesthetically. And it makes a fine executive summary for all your preceeding 86 Chicago photos! Wowee:)

I knew without looking that this would be Chicago. Those days were so amazing, so full of everything good and great---"I can't wait to go back"!! Oh, your pano--awesome. And the chicken in pomegranate walnut sauce----sigh---beyond delicious!!

I particularly like that there are parts without the high buildings. A wonderful pic!

WOW! Ooooh! WOW! This is gorgeous! We're finally getting warm weather again and so this part of Chicago is nicely blue from the lake and the green bits are beginning to green a bit! What a view! I live in this city and seldom get to see it this way so it's a double treat, and yeah...I'm in the mood for cute Persian waiters...um...I mean good Persian food! I wonder if when we go back the manager'll remember us as all being from Seattle? He still owes us free dessert you know! What a gorgeous photo finish to a marvelous series of shots! WOW!

I can't wait to go back to Indiana, Back to where I started from I'm going back to Indiana, Indiana here I come! I spent my weeks with greener pastures, I still ain't found what I was after, I got the blues, And that is why I sing I just wanna do my thing Your title and narrative reminded me of that old ditty, which I took some liberties with. Cool clarity in this cool panorama of the Chicago skyline! Incidentally, I heard that Chicago has the most street cameras of any city in the USA. Big Brotherville!

Fantastic pano!!! I know how the photo # thing is though... You have to take photos of everything. Who knows when you will get back? That is how it was for my on my trip last summer. I am still enjoying the shots .. as I am still enjoying yours of Chicago!
