Description

Chicago, as seen from the Museum Complex. This is the last of my Chicago shots. Well ... there might be more ... never say never ... but for now, this is the end of it. I've been pestering you with these for seven months. Can you believe it? We were there for 2-1/2 days. If I had numbered the photographs I took there that I've shown you, this would be entitled Chicago: 87 That whole weekend was a joy. Photographically speaking I felt ilke it was a huge success for me, full of experiments and learning and happy results. Personally speaking it was absolutely glorious. Spending all that time with good friends was such a treat! And has anyone anyone mentioned the chicken in pomegranate walnut sauce? :D I can't wait to go back. I'm going to find another beautiful weekend with temperatures in the low 70s, and take my camera and wallow in one of my favorite cities with some of my favorite people. Thanks for hanging in with me through all these images! I hope you've enjoyed it half as much as I have. I've left this really big, so zoom will be a fun thing! :)

What a wonderful view. Looks like you are standing in front of the Shedd Aquarium's outside deck and shooting all the way around the waterfront to the Navy Pier on the right. Chicago has a showcase of architectural gems in all of their tall buildings (I know, I've been reading about them). On another trip...we need to make time for one or two of the many architectural tours...in addition to hours upon hours of lively conversation among Rendo friends and eating at Reza's:) This is a great pano...technically, as well as aesthetically. And it makes a fine executive summary for all your preceeding 86 Chicago photos! Wowee:)

WOW! Ooooh! WOW! This is gorgeous! We're finally getting warm weather again and so this part of Chicago is nicely blue from the lake and the green bits are beginning to green a bit! What a view! I live in this city and seldom get to see it this way so it's a double treat, and yeah...I'm in the mood for cute Persian waiters...um...I mean good Persian food! I wonder if when we go back the manager'll remember us as all being from Seattle? He still owes us free dessert you know! What a gorgeous photo finish to a marvelous series of shots! WOW!

I can't wait to go back to Indiana, Back to where I started from I'm going back to Indiana, Indiana here I come! I spent my weeks with greener pastures, I still ain't found what I was after, I got the blues, And that is why I sing I just wanna do my thing Your title and narrative reminded me of that old ditty, which I took some liberties with. Cool clarity in this cool panorama of the Chicago skyline! Incidentally, I heard that Chicago has the most street cameras of any city in the USA. Big Brotherville!

Fantastic pano!!! I know how the photo # thing is though... You have to take photos of everything. Who knows when you will get back? That is how it was for my on my trip last summer. I am still enjoying the shots .. as I am still enjoying yours of Chicago!
