Description

Taken on one of my searches for wildflowers. I kept seeing them flying around and he finally stopped on the fence long enough for me get a few shots from inside the car. I saw a lot of birds that day, but he was the only one to get close enough to capture. Thanks for viewing and for previous comments and favs!

A scissor-tailed what? What hath God wrought? Good heavens, I never knew such a species existed! In any event, a sterling capture of the evasive little flycatcher, Lucinda! Other than the tail, it resembles a sparrow or wren.
