Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

When visiting my mother one year, she took me here to have coffee in the lobby...just because it was such a lovely place. Fabulous shot.

Very impressive but way above my budget these days. There is a Flagler County in Cnetral Florida. I guess that's what you get if you're big enough. Great photo.

What a interesting place and your potted history was most interesting.

Un posto decisamente fuori dalla portata di gente comune che guadagna in un mese quanto serve per dormire una notte. Molto bella la foto che ha un grande respiro ! Intressante la spiegazione . A place far beyond the reach of ordinary people who earn in one month what used to sleep one night. Very nice picture that has a big breath! Interesting explanation

This is a beautiful place, The Ferrari club we belong to hold shows there and Trump was married on the weekend I stayed at the hotel. It was on the same weekend as one of the Ferrari shows! The church he was married in was on the same strip as the Breakers Hotel. In fact it is on the corner of that street! There were photographers and news crews galore. If I find those photos I think I will post one. I love it there!

OMG, glorious repetition in perspective most evident in this fantastic capture of the luxurious Hotel and grounds, Dana! Plus the interesting information. An ostentatious display of affluence, and possibly decadence.
