I can't exactly tell who this guy embodies, but I like to think that he's somehow channeling the Monkey, known in Chinese folklore as something of a free-wheeling, free-spirited trickster. I fell in love with one of his incarnations in the novel Tripmaster Monkey: His Fake Book by Maxine Hong-Kingston. Such a brilliant novel! As for this image, it's amazing! I love the vivid life of it, the details, the colors, the textures, the whole visual flavor of it. How rich! This is a brilliant piece of work!

Can't claim this guy is clothed in modest attire, Dana! Sure to be noticed on the street. The clarity, color and patterns are top notch in this shot. And the mask reminds me of those worn by hockey goalies.
