Description
She was a Princess to her people.
Daughter of a Warlord of legend.
And blessed by her Mother's blood with the gift of Dragon Speech.
Her line would end if her people could not make peace with the massive winged reptilians that were the scourge of her world. A plague to the villages. And death from above.
One night, a cloaked and coweled stranger left a strange gift for the Princess at the gates of her palace. Shrouded within the folds of a cloak woven from the very fabric of Night, Amalina found the hatchling curled about a golden orb bearing her family sigil.
A light touch from her to the orb was all it took to invoke the ancient magic. From that day forward she and the beast were bound.
Body.
Mind.
Soul.
A true unitiy of being.
And a bridge between worlds at war with each other. Doomed to be the end of the other without a balance.
Here. With Amalina and Nighttalon that balance was, at last, in good hands.

OUTSTANDING work, love, and a great return to rendering! Your character is gorgeous, the scene fantastic, but to me the lighting is what really makes this image! Absolutely perfect! Now... get back to work on those disks! :D

Oh my gosh, Stacey, this is just outright gorgeous! I just love this, the lighting is magnificent! I love dragons anyway, but you've really done this one proud! I have two dragons guarding my computers .. my Goddaughter bought me a pink webkins dragon, and a black one!! They are too cute. Contrats on being one third of the way through with the content reload!!
