Been an artist of various types pretty much all my life: pencils - paint - watercolors, mosaics of beach glass, writing 'stories', musician (first love), photography, software design. Started messing with Bryce & Photoshop a few of years ago and have gotten more involved with various 3D apps recently (Lightwave, Cinema 4d, Vue, etc). But my pictures, both rendered and captured, pretty much tell who I am. My bunny, Brenda aka JustAlice here, and I live in a little house out in the countryside of Indiana.

When I lived in Porter, my yard backed up to the Champion Paper mill property and I'd often jump the back fence to wander. Every day that is... I loved spending the day in the forest - 12 gauge in one hand, water and snack in the other. I'd stop often and sit under one of the trees in the deep shade, smelling the mulching compost of leaves and fungus, listen to the twitter of the birds high in the canopy and enjoy the soft breezes. Rabbits, skunks, raccoon, squirrel (hence the shotgun - someone had to bring home dinner each night) deer... all sorts of creaturs milling about on the fringes of my vision. I miss being near open land and the solitude the woods provided. But then, I spent another 30 minutes after I got home picking the ticks off me in front of the full length mirror. You got to take the good with the bad and balance it out. :-) Wonderful shot.

How wonderful, the first springtime hike... or is it ? this will keep everybody healthy and fit. (I used to be a Fitness Instructor) bits of green - here and there already, that must be also Bunny's shadow on the left tree, just don't get lost...well, maybe a little in each other's company, of course. I can feel a lot more forrest pix coming on...bring it on ! What a nice start, BB (_/) (o) (")(")
