Description

The post-war successor to the Hastings-Class Battlecarrier. While the Hastings-Class was more battleship than carrier, this ship is more carrier than battleship and functions as a space control vessel, filling the same role as a modern U.S. Navy carrier: Sure, it has fighters, but basically it's a floating theatre command vessel capable of lot more than sending guys in little ships to blow stuff up. This ship doesn't exist until some time after my main storylines (and if I ever do a novel series, it would be in later books). But one of the main characters gets a sort of "flash forward" glimpse in the future, where this ship figures prominently. I had a heck of a time getting the textures right on this one, and I'll probably still rework the textures on those tube-like greebles on the outriggers. There's a lot more windows in this one, but the main block of them is blotted out by the sun's reflection in this image. I'll do some deep space shots, but I thought the upper atmo image brought out the bronze coloring of the hull nicely. Enjoy, and let me know what you think
