As Aeromithia presents a vision of beauty unmatched and Prince Adamar piety untarnished, I can only describe Lepidoptis as wildness unbridled. His parentage does not bear close inspection. Heedless of consequence have many of the Sisters of Alaertha journeyed into entanglements unseemly and unnatural. Thus did one Incantatrix find herself with child by her own Feystag. Such is the danger of chaos, that in the blood of fey, does bind itself with all manner of willing bride to produce offspring both odd and corrupt. Herein lies the birth of Lepidoptis, half Callygraunt, half human, born of an Incantatrix, raised amongst the Sisterhood, and trained in the ways of the wild by his father’s people.

It then causes little surprise that Lepidoptis became an Arcane Ranger, possessing both the Callygraunts’ power to seize control of magical devices from afar, and their natural gifts of the wild. Respectable were his skills of stealth and observation, with the power of magic sight common to all fey-born. The rage of chaos was forever in his veins and little control could be exercised over his urges. Fortunately, being raised by the Sisterhood, he was of good heart. Though his incessant pranks and poor decorum gave pause, he was a delightful soul to be around, and a true and honest friend.
