They're playing the miniseries "The Pacific" here in the States. It's about the U.S. Marines and their battles with the Japanese. Viscous and bloody. I've read some about ANZAC during that time and how Australia handled the Japanese threat. You folks have plenty of which to be proud. Met one of your vets once. Taught me the "Australian Salute". A very moving capture.
