Description
This is the beach just outside my house, When the currents are just right, it pushes all the seaweed up onto the beach were it dies and then decays. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it smells like a hundred dead bodies putrefying in the sun!!!!!!! I have just taken my dog for a swim and even he was nearly passing out!!!!

Had a condo on Coronado Island (California). Sometimes that happened. Most of the bad times were caused by raw sewage washing ashore from Tijuana. So,I empathize with you. (A "been there, smelled that" moment.) Of course the beauty of it is, it will wash away, eventually.

Oh yes! Rotting seaweed.. Used to do the same thing in Kent where I lived.. Uuuuuuuugh! It's AWFUL!! Memories..bad ones! Rob
