Description

------------- Chronicles of the King – Saruko

Though Sancrist lay at the roots of the sky and is commanded by the vision of dragons in flight above, it serves the great port of Sancrist and the mighty Hellenian navy at sea. Thus do many races and people from far lands traverse its lanes and avenues in transit or in search of adventure or employ. Half-dragons and assorted humanoids are not unknown within the city, but none so fascinated me than Saruko Matzumoto. Matzumoto Saruko, she called herself, in her country’s fashion of placing family name first.

How and why she came to us, is unknown to me still. Mysterious her background and exodus, as are her powers. I know her to be not human, but one of the so-called Cabal. Euphoniously called Spirit Folk, a nature spirit of water is she. Her appearance is not unlike a normal human of her region, to my knowing, though her bare flesh is covered in many tattoos. Her skills tend to the roguish arts, and I must assume her history involves some brotherhood of crime in her homeland. I would not be so base as to imagine her a villain. However, there is darkness in her heart, subtle and well controlled by steely discipline. Pray Bahamut that she keeps her darkness in check.

The outfit shows off her tattoos nicely! I think without the tattoos, it'd feel like it was too revealing just for the sake of being revealing (which is also fine if you're doing it to distract your enemy or put them off guard). But combined with the tats, it looks really good :D

Fantastic character! There is a nice soft effect to the scene and she stands out dramatically against her background without looking like she doesn't belong there. =)
