Description
For anyone outside the UK, we are currently in the run-up to a general election which means that all our MP's are pounding the constituencies drumming up support for their bid for another term on the gravy train that is Parliament. (Cynical, aren't I?)
The Commonsense Party, one of our political 'also-ran' parties, chose to use this rather strange means to publicise themselves.
I don't think that they had thought it out too well as they were out on the river while it was in flood and all the locks had red boards up - that means that all boats should remain tied up to the river bank and not attempt to navigate the strong currents.
Not showing much common sense there, then. :-D
Still, they'll probably get my vote just for for their timing of this event - it was a freezing day and hardly anyone was about along the river - though they seem to have collared at least one bemused gentleman. :-)

Original idea...cool shot.

Great pic. It shows the downside to bad planning. And if they're getting their policies by asking the people what they want, then this party should be banned. Too many in the public are lazy, uneducated boobs, standing around with their hands held out, saying gimme, gimme.
