Description
Prague is a well known tourist goal, and as such it sports every type of restaurants, pubs, bars, etc. Often the signs are very creative in their aim to charm the passers-by to enter. I found these two restaurants downton, but in different streets. I couldn't resist the temptation to put them close, actually door-to-door in this collage. As you can see they advertise their offer for international customers, and I can say that, generally speaking, the Czech know English well. They did a great job in teaching it at school. Of course, in other parts of the country the situation may be very different, but if you don't speak Czech, you'll never find the least problem in Prague.
Thank you for your kind comments.

I am very surprised that a Hungarian restaurant does not display its prices in Euros! beautiful pictures! As a stamp collector, stamps are very exciting Hungarian! I read English easily, but the talk is different! Having made the first German language, I can not accept the accent, unlike my wife who speaks the Queen's English! Does it speak French then? Ps: the Hungarian stamps bear the name some times "MAGYAR.

I've been in Prague (and Slany) back in '93... I didn't speak and I still don't speak Czech language, but German, and most of the people I met were speaking German... excellent shot here, a very good composition!

WOW! All of that for 190 Crowns! I love the colors here as well as the wonderful old world textures. Prague does texture well, and I love the textures and colors here. Oooh, and they've got "pancake" which is probably bramburak...yummy! This is one extremely marvelous shot! Yeah, and Czechs do speak English incredibly well...when they want to. This is superb.

The demon's restaurant has a cheaper menu. Do they serve devil's food cake? A charming set of pictures captured with humor. Excellent work.
