"... hope you like it." I do. You possess a fine blend of creative strengths which consistently shine through each of the works you have displayed so far. - Simplicity and clarity of intention. There is nothing in your images which does not serve a purpose. This may seem logical for you, but it is not a rule widely respected in any medium. From photographs in the daily news to motion pictures, we often see a great deal that could and should have been edited out. - Aesthetic composition. You possess either a native or well trained eye for composition that is pleasing and engaging to view. This is immediately evident in every one of your works. - Attention to shading. The real world is filled with various degrees of shadow, our art should reflect this condition of reality. Light may reveal but shadows define. Shape, texture and character are brought into view through well crafted shading. Straight on illumination is often flat and uninteresting; two words I would never use to descibe your imagery. ;-) You employ and blend these strengths well. Many artists utilize one or two of these features in a work, it is rare, however, to see them all consistently blended into a finished image. Fine craftwork! Terry
