Description

Hello everyone and thanks for looking... Recently I saw a picture posted by an outstanding Rendo artist named Sharyn, a.k.a .Artemis. and it impressed me, so I added it to my favorites. Here are links to some of her other pictures: Sanctuary, Melancholy, The Doorway In my comment I asked Sharyn where she got her reflective floors, and she site mailed me back saying that she made them herself in the Poser materials room. Sure enough, there's a button there marked "Add Reflection" that I'd never tried before. Needless to say, I gave it a try, and this picture is one of my first results. Of course this took all night to render, but I think it was worth it. How 'bout you? Thanks a bunch, Sharyn, this is pretty cool! I'm sure there's tons more info on how to set up the reflections in the tutorials, but if any of you know any tips or tricks on how this function works, I'd really appreciate you dropping me a line and letting me know how to do it. I'm amazed that such an impressive visual effect was only one button push away. Also, if this has been helpful to you and you use the add reflection in one of your pictures, let me know so I can check it out. Thanks, and have a great weekend, Tom Seaview123 Other credits: Yasmina character for V4 by ArtCollaborations @Daz3D Thiggity Thong freebie by FleshForge Versitile Skin Shaders (VSS) by BagginsBill

Shiny floors look good but noticeably increase render times. Interesting experiment.

Poser could do that since Poser 5, it was just more work then a button. :) You can even make your own mirrors for walls. Fantastic work!

I like the POV and the reflections are beautiful! I find they take too long for my uses, but if you have time to let Poser run, they are gorgeous(as are your characters:)

I think the girl in the darker outfit is trying to tell the guy to take her and give the girl in the blue sloppy seconds - lol... "Reflecting on the Options" - excellent title - lol

Thanks for the tip! I will have to try this. Your image looks great and well worth the wait! Your characters are superb. One of them resemble a bit to Cher when she was younger. At least to me she does. Amazing work!

Nice pov and blurred reflections! As Mike said, its a bit more work in DAZ, but sometimes you just like to see things reflected! Great characters and a great render!
