Description
Walking home from work the other evening I spotted these two ducks being chased off by a Coot.
Managed to get this shot once I'd caught up with them.
I don't recall having seen these on the river near me before but I hope they set up home here as they are so pretty.
I'm told they are Mandarin Ducks and they seem to match the pictures I found by Googling so I'm satisfied that that is what they are.
I hope they have some chicks and bring them to pose for a family photo - but that shouldn't be for a few weeks yet. :-)
