Description

Felt so bad for this little lady bug. Seems it didn't hatch right and has some issues. I tried to get it on a stem with some aphids to eat. Hope it survives for a while. Is it weird to be so concerned about something so small in the world? Thanks for looking. Bruce

I wouldn't say it's weird at all, I have the same inclination to try and help animals I spot which look like they're in need of it. I guess it's knowing that one wrong step in nature can mean thank you and goodnight. Very nicely shot.

Poor little guy. There could be a story there like "Nemo" Seeing as you are the only bug person i currently know i posted a beetle a couple of images ago and people have been asking me what it is. I have no idea of course but it was found in the north east of Western Australia if you have an urge to have a crack at it.

Hope he survives but he looks like he needs all the help he can get.

Oh no Bruce - if we take care of the little things in life and nature, the big things will start taking care of themselves! I also hope this little guy survived! Wonderful shot and thank you for caring!

Stunning capture my friend. Sad about its wing though. I saved a dove at our work recently.Seems some you know what is setting traps for the doves. It consists of a thin branch and a piece of gut is tied to the branch and on the end of the gut whoever is catching the doves ties a small loop. He or they leave them everywhere around our dam at work. I also destroyed many of the traps recently.Any way on day walking around the Power Station dam i saw this dove trying to fly away and he could not get away as he/she was trapped in the notch of gut and the small branch is to heavy. So i caught the Dove and loosened the notch around its leg and away he/she flew.It is after this episode that i found all the traps all around the Power Station Dam. I am still upset with whoever is setting the traps.
