Narchi said to the Captain over the intercom,"I can't let my boy go in to talk to Typhon without ME being there! Even If I can't change into a giant monster or whatever, I have to be there. I'll run like hell when it gets too dangerous." Dokka said,"Make sure you do. Do NOT make Neblae a widow. THAT is a direct order!" Narchi said,"AYE-AYE! I think I hear Prince. I need to go. See you when I get back." "Good luck,Narchi." The light was harsh in the dorsal airlock to the shuttle-dock. Narchi looked out and saw Susnshine. He cleared his throat and asked,"No sign of River Prince? He'll be here in a moment. He had to put on some clothes and run to the toilet. We're about to go to Hel, to confront Typhon." She nodded and looked sad. "Why does he want to die?" Narchi shrugged. "I can think of PLENTY of reasons. Boredom is one. He's been alive for at least four million years, but never been dead. Maybe sadness? He's lost everyone who ever mattered to him. Those are just two of dozens. I suspect ...Here's Prince! Try not to keep him too long. We need to go within the next twelve minutes or we'll miss our de-orbit window for the shuttle." He stepped back into the airlock proper to give the young friends space for their farewells. Sunshine looked at Prince with a deep yearning and said, "You look really good. Very grown up. Don't die, alright? If you do, I'll hate you forever!" He nodded. "I is more afraid of going mad with the frenzy thing like Toxic did. She's alright now...but she could have killed anyone who she saw in it! I NEVER want to be like that. I never want to hurt you. ...OR Lime, or Rose or ANYONE else!" Her antennae perked up and she smiled. "If I could carry your anger like a big stone, I would. It wouldn't matter if I went crazy with rage and stuff. What am I gonna do? BITE someone?" She laughed until she saw how serious Prince had gotten. He said,"My father will NEVER frenzy because my MOTHER is harmonized with him. She can pull him out of it if something happens. She can't frenzy ,so that's doubly good! He told me all about it. That's why Toxic went off because she doesn't have anyone to harmonize with yet." She stepped closer and whispered,"Can I harmonize with you? Will it help that much? Do you have to love someone to do it with? I want TO HELP!" He shrugged. "Don't know if love helps. I think it does. I'd have to share part of my soul or something like that. I never did that before so I don't know." Sunshine knew what she wanted, and suddenly felt very conniving. She said in a whisper,"Can we harmonize with a kiss?" He shrugged. "I don't know. I is not certain." Sunny got closer and said,"Let's try!" She grabbed him and kissed him on the mouth. She had never kissed anyone on the mouth except her mom and dad. This was different in a big way. It was like the rushing of fire, wind and water all combined in a huge tidal wave that swept her senses away. Narchi shouted,"HEY! ENOUGH of THAT! Come on,lover boy! We need to go! She felt disoriented when they broke away.She blinked and said,"I is dizzy! Are dizzy? AM dizzy! Let's do it again!" Narchi pointed at her and warned,"I'll tell your mother on you! We need to fly!" Prince stepped past her into the airlock. "Thanks,Sunny. I do feel better. I'll see you when we return." She shouted,"BYE-BYE," and the door shut in her face. She ran to the dorsal connector to the top SASN drop-ship in the aft and ran up the gangway to it. She un-dogged the hatch and swung up into it. Since it wasn't in use it was dim and weightless. She kicked over to the forward window so she could watch the shuttle undock and move free of the Nautilus. She watched as it moved away out of sight toward the planet below. She sighed,"Be careful, Prince. I is missing you very very much! Heartbreak. I has it!." She wept silently, her tears forming watery moons around her head. --To be continued!--
