My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Cool shot Tara. Almost every window panel has a different pattern. Love the many shade of blue tone too.

Most appropriate - the WAMU Tower in meltdown... Great shot!

Maybe it's me, but the idea of banks in meltdown (both visually and otherwise) is somewhat amusing, though chilling. Banks melting in the faces of museums is even more fitting in a way; but that's just me. I love this picture, all of those verticals and diagonals, and melting banks! The colors are superb, predominantly blue with that hint of earth-tone ocher! Marvelous and crisp and so deliciously detailed.

Wonderful work.

Right Brain Tara art. You saw this at first glance and photographed ituitively. These reflections are in the abstract department. Love the WAMU reflected colors and all those SAM windows that remind me of old amusement park mirrors distorting whatever stands in front of them. Well done.

Really, really nice one, Tara! I too love to shoot those reflections in the windows of modern office buildings. Those buildings do sometimes have some saving grace, artistically speaking, anyway. There are quite a few around the Kansas City area. Wonderful composition!

Wow I can't wait to see more shots, and great reflections BTW.

Banks! Tell me about them... The reflections on here are wonderful.. If they looked after the money as much as the windows.....well.. Nuff said! Well done Tara! Rob

Perfect reflection :)

Great shot! I love reflection shots. This sounds like what happened to the Sears Tower in Chicago. Sears is stil in business but they had to scale back and could no longer afford to keep the building up. It is now called The Willis Tower. But nobody calls it that. It's been the Sears Tower since it opened in 1973 and I suspect everyone will go on calling it that for the forseeable future. Oh this topsy-turvy world we live in. gret shot.
