Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

WOW! Ooooh! Pretty! I love the elegant line of that bridge and the way it looks so incredibly fragile. It's funny, those clouds look so substantial compared to it, and the color is amazing! I love that shade of blue and the un-troubled-ness of the water. This rocks!

Wow, what a beautiful bridge. So long and high. I am afraid to cross bridges, and this is no exception..... Aloha

Lovely shot!! Love the look of this bridge, it does look so small and fragile from the air, very well done..

I'm not sure I'd like to cross it. It looks very frail from here.

Have gone over this bridge a few times, looks better from this POV. Love the composition with the clouds.

superbe photo!!

It looks so nice from this distance! I know for a fact, though, that it isn't nearly so pretty when you're actually on it. It's rather drab, in fact, and the water is brown at that level. Beautiful shot!

Chip is right - it does look so fragile! Wonderful shot Marilyn!

Now that's cool, I love the framing by the clouds.

That skinny little old thing is a bridge? I'm gonna wear my swim suit and oxygen breathing device while driving over it. Other than that, I really like the way the bridge bisects the clouds and ocean, Marilyn.
