King Leonidas: Children, gather round! No retreat, no surrender; that is Spartan lore. And by Spartan lore we will stand and fight... and die. A new age has begun. An age of freedom, and all will know, that 300 Spartans gave their last breath to defend it! Excerpt from '300' Warner Brothers Pictues (c) 2006 ~~~~ Had to hop on the 'nearly nekkid, sword weilding, shiled carrying, horse hair festooned helm wearing, bulked up beefcake' wagon called the 'Spartan Warrior'. And, as this represents image #300 in my gallery, I felt it only fitting that a Spartan should be the one to announce it properly. "Eat a hearty breakfast boys, for tonight, we dine in Hell!!" What a fantastic way to celebrate this milestone in your gallery! Your Spartan looks awesome, I love the use of the grunge shaders to give his armor that weathered look. The setting you placed him in certainly brings Thermopylae to mind, right down to the sea where the Persian ships were landing. The light, shadow (fighting in the shade!), and coloring all come together perfectly! Congradulations to the bold 300, and here's to many, many more!
