Description
Even among the most disreputable of a society, there is honour and loyalty found amid guilds of 'honest' thieves and cutpurses. Those who form a cohesive unit and protect their own. Tonight, the leaders of such a guild are scouting a rival encampment to see just what kind of a threat they pose to the lawful thieves of Clerin.
Amair - the appointed Prince of Thieves, and quite the talented mage when the needs call for it. At his right hand, his love and lady, Kalyste, make quite the formidable pair. What she lacks in skills in the mystic arts, she more than makes up for with her skill with the enchanted crystal blade...a...reward for a job well done. Besides, as she reasoned, the fella that wielded it before wasn't going to need it where he was going. So, why waste a perfectly good enchanted sword. Admittedly, Amair and she butted heads over it more than a few times before he relented and let her keep the blade. Much to the envy of many in his guild.
But any decent within the ranks of the guild were quelled quickly, for Amair, was, if nothing else, a fair leader to them, and usually did what best benefited his people in the end. Plus....Kalyste never ceased badgering and browbeating him until he gave in. In the end, everyone seemed satisfied with the outcome.
Now, as the guards of the opposing guild slip into a drug induced slumber, Amair and Kalyste set off to accomplish their goal. Recognizance....and, if they're proven lucky, a little reward for themselves for the effort.
Either way, a good night to be a thief.

A return to the Clerin storyline, even if these two aren't officially introduced yet. I just had to take the chance to work with the love Azalea character from DAZ and the new goodie we picked up from Xurge.

An awesome pair of characters, my dear. Excellent costuming, and I love the effects on their blades. Great atmosphere with the setting and lighting, and the poses certainly lend to the sense of action. A fascinating twist on the Clerin storyline you've introduced!

What I like the most of this artwork and chain everything together is the use of black and lights, creating a feeling of mystery and power at the same time. Black dominates the whole composition. Bravo.
