Description

This is the first of my images that I have really manipulated. Often times we may go through dark periods in our lives, but it is in those times that beauty can be magnified.

The shadow has an interesting way of encroaching on this image! It took me a while to really get a feel for it, but that's normal for me when I haven't had enough Dr. Pepper or too much Pilsner Urquell (is there such a thing as too much Pilsner? I think not!) Anyway, I really like this. It pulled me in. I really like the grain quality and the intense green. The white petals are almost luminous and that's such a nice contrast both to the color and the black background. This is quite nice work.
