Description
Out-worn heart, in a time out-worn, Come clear of the nets of wrong and right; Laugh heart again in the gray twilight, Sigh, heart, again in the dew of the morn. Come, heart, where hill is heaped upon hill: For there the mystical brotherhood Of sun and moon and hollow and wood And river and stream work out their will. -W.B. Yeats, 1899 The first portrait for you of a new friend who goes by the name: Keiryn. Of Irish, Portuguese and Cherokee ancestry, I believe she said. She's a fresh character who has been developing over at my studio throughout the week. Make her feel at home and I'm sure she'll come 'round for a few more sittings. I hope everyone is enjoying an inspired weekend! With warm regards, Terry

She has a unique look... I like the contrast between her colors and that of the background you used.

That's a nice contrast between cool colors and warm tones. And that poetry by Yeats talks about the brotherhood of sun and moon. The words and the lovely portrait complement each other, like two opposite poles. Whether it's a coincidence or not~~ it's still a great piece!

A strong character with features as chisled as can be done in a woman and still be said to be beautiful. To me she looks to be older than she is giving the appearance of... but perhaps it is just her old soul showing through a youger body... as she speaks of knowledge deeper than one her age should posses.
