Description
In a house
On the hill,
there lived a little girl,
her smile bright as sunshine,
her laughter cheerful as the rain.
She played hide and seek,
She climbed up trees
Like you and I.
But what happened next,
remains a mystery,
Her shoes were found
down the river side.
She was missed by those
who loved her.
As they moved,
her memories
stayed behind.
Years came by,
the house still stood there,
It was an inn for a while,
until guests dwindled to a trickle.
Closed for another twenty
or something years...
forgotten by time.
Cobwebs filled its empty rooms,
dark shadows peeked from broken windows,
Fallen leaves swirled and danced in the misty air.
Little girl, little girl
come and play,
giggles and silly laughter
in quiet, desolate hours
as passersby quickly walk away.
Once again,
a haunting silence
occupied the house on the hill.

This is actually a sad story of a little girl, but at the same time I'd like to use mistressotdark's horror background which I had for a while (thanks for your patience, Cheryl). It will be available at RMP soon. This is dedicated to all the missing children all over the world and to their families. Please check out this song where I got the inspiration from:
