Description
OK, nobody is supposed to see me, lying on the grass, feeding the seven remaining ducklings. All of a sudden, my wife is snapping away. This is my good bye visit, with the ducks because we are packing up for our 1,522 mile drive up to New Hampshire. So I’ll be off RR for a few days but catching up once we get settled up north.

What a marvelous shot, and I love the spontenaety that your wife exhibited in snapping it. I love that little glimpse into life, and so poignant a moment too! The ducklings will fare well I suspect as affection toward any living thing tends to have a positive effect, no matter how seemingly insignificant. This is a marvelous shot!
