Description
I was able to expand the hair and sweater slightly before running into deformations that made them look unrealistic. From the cartoon picture I'm also thinking either that sweater is really big or Velma is pretty top heavy. Also being new to Daz3D I'm not sure how to change character textures aside from pre-designed packs like character freebies and such, I'm also clueless about post-production work

This funny just a month ago I posted on the forums if there where any Scooby-Doo stuff out there and now I fined you doing this. This is looking great. Yes, the sweater is big on her but also I think Velma is a bit chesty. In the newer cartoons they are drawing Velma just a bit more shapely; that sweater got just a little tighter. When you learn how to change textures be sure to add freckles. Keep on trying.

This new Velma is a LOT better than the first, congratz! You need to read up on loading and using the "Surfaces" tab in Daz Studio. Download yourself some freebie tileable cloth textures, then apply them to "diffuse color" parameter while adjusting the "horizontal tiles" and "vertical tiles" until the pattern looks right. If you get hold of a good black and white cloth pattern, you can also apply it to "bump strength" to get an even more realistic looking cloth surface. Try loading a sphere primitive and play at turning it into a cloth ball. Also play with color, reflection and lighting model to make it a "metal" sphere. It's all there - just gotta load and play with the "Surfaces" tab.
