My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Ā
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made!Ā :)
Ā
In March, 2013, we sold ourĀ home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time.Ā What a blast!Ā There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If Iām missing from Renderosity from time to time, Iām busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!Ā

Ooh, I love this image and Bill's probable new career. The colors are quite amazing, and the maroon is nicely rich. The details in this are stunning and what a bowl. It's nicely fancy!

Very beautiful bowl and stand.

Bill is looking a bit pale in this shot, must be maroon isn't his colour... Beautiful bowl, you did a very nice job of capturing it even behind glass. Not always easy to do. (with or without reflections of a friend)

There's a very busy bowl...lots happening on the sides....

Seems like Bill nearly lost his head over this one!! A great shot, thru glass is tricky and you got it just right. I love the colors!!

great capture...

Wonderful capture!!

Excellent capture through the glass. The reflections just enhance the image. The painting on the left appears to be a lifeboat in some sort of distress. With that as a clue I'm guessing last half of the nineteen century.

Wonderful piece of art and your shot made it even more pretty. The motion is just perfect in a reflection.

Love the comments above...some guys will do anything for attention:) I am going to provide an educated guess...I think this was in the room marked "Romanticism". This was a period that began in the mid to late 18th Century and carried into the mid 19th Century. Here's a Wiki

That's a great shot, Tara! I'm going to have to get over there and see this one in person. Let me know when Bill becomes part of the permanent exhibition, and I'll bring him a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts LOL! Really nicely done photo - this bowl is quite spectacular.

A perfect Tara touch on this shot--never just one thing but layers of them! The bowl is lovely, but I'd likely drop and break it the first time I washed it. It would make a great salad serving bowl, wouldn't it? Or how about a bushel of peel-and-eat shrimp? Complete with lemon and lots of cold beer? Great shot!

Very nice shot. And the subject is a fine example of strong presentation.

I've heard of pheasant under glass but this is a new one on me. Stellar capture of the clarity, color and texture on this beautiful objet d'art. And, I don't see any shirt in this image.

I agree about Bill's shirt. ;c) I love objects like this! This is an awesome image with my favorite colors in it.
