Description

If I were on the ball, I would tell you all about this bowl and pedestal. However, all I know is that the image is mostly maroon, and my gallery needed a bit of something in the red family. :P This is from the Nelson-Atkins in Kansas City. It's a bowl on a pedestal. It's a HUGE bowl on a pedestal! That's pretty much everything I know about it. Here's another example of the fine job they do there. Notice how the colors of the bowl are picked up in the walls, the picture frames, and Bill's shirt. Actually, I think they'll be calling Bill to ask him to stand there in the exhibit in that blue shirt. LOL! I thought about taking him out of the image, but decided I liked the depth and motion he provided in an otherwise static image.
