Description

The company of questors traveled through the thickly wooded forest for several hours. The canopy above them was so thick, they couldn't see anything above it. Suddenly, they broke out into an immense, bright meadow that stretched out for miles ahead of them. As their eyes grew accustomed to the light, they saw in the distance a site that drew gasps of amazement and dismay. The Lion was the first to comment. 'Looks like a formidable obstacle in our way. I know of no way around it.' They spent a long time just gazing at the mountain, thinking of all the difficulties in trying to cross over it. Finally, the golden bot scratched his head and motioned for Greg to come over to him. 'Seems I recollect there is another way to the other side of this here mountain. I vaguely recall working here many many moons ago. If I'm not mistaken, there is an undergound passage that takes us right through the mountain to the other side!' Greg thought about that awhile, then told the Lion about it. The Lion said, 'Yes, I believe the little gold one is correct. But I don't think that passage has been used for many centuries! I know of no one who has tried it and succeeded. Many have never been seen again after entering that cavern, if, indeed, we can even find it!' Thank you for taking a peek!
