A Green Heron sneaking up on his fish dinner. A surprisingly small bird compared to the Great Blue heron.

Excellent capture. We get the Great White Egret that visits our pond every now and then. Of course, I never have my camera with me when I spy him there, and then he flies off when I move. ;c)

Nice critter. These guys show up at my pond frequently. They are very colorful and quite entertaining as they move around the shoreline. I need a bigger lens to get a shot because they are so wary. Well done to capture this one. Thanks for sharing. Lee
