Description

After securing the paddlewheel airship with two heavy ropes. The Pilot felt safe enough to leave it. He threw a rope ladder over the side and quickly climbed down to the ground. After a round of introductions, the Pilot told his story. A few nights previous, his ship had been moored at a pier in a distant sky city. He had given his crew shore leave because he was expecting a large group of passengers on his next trip out. They would have been away from port a couple weeks. He always stayed on his ship. That night was no different. A strong wind had come up and tore his ship away from the moorings. He was carried away by the storm. His attempts to start his engines failed for the wind storm had damaged them. No one was able to pursue him to attempt a rescue. The storm made that impossible. He felt certain he was going to perish several times, but somehow, he and his ship had survived. He couldn't tell where he was. None of these mountains looked familiar to him nor did they appear on any of his charts. He was just grateful to the questors for his rescue. The Lion told the pilot that he thought bots were very capable repairmen. The gold bot confirmed it. He sent the two silver bots back up the ship's rope ladder to investigate the damage. As they were gone, the Lion looked more closely at the Pilot as did Hans and Greg. There was certainly something very familiar about him. If he could just remember where he had seen that face before. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!
