I am 58 years young, live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I'm a true product of my continent. I love the bush, the animals, sunshine, sunsets - oh well, anything to do with nature. I am unmarried and have three sons - 37, 33 and 30 respectively and three granddaugters aged 12, 6 and 4 respectively and obviously the light of my life! Photography has always been a passion and I have loved it since I can remember. I was still using a SLR camera and only switched to digital only in late 2007! My other passion is travel and I have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly widely. There are however still many, many places I would love to visit "one day." I am truly an amateur photographer and do it merely as a hobby. So please be gentle when you comment on my work. :-) Thank you Piet, my dear friend, for convincing me to place my work on Renderosity. You owe me one! Hugs, Carin xx

Ha Ha Ha, your sister in law is so strong, does she work out? Great pic!!!!
Chipka
WOW! What a fun shot! Judging by her expression and general stance, she isn't straining too hard, so she can probably push it over a few more meters before she breaks a sweat. This is hilarious. I don't think you need to do any photoshop work on this, I can see what looks like some kind of water buffalo sort of a creature drawn onto the rock. It's pretty clear too. This is a great shot, and it gave me a nice, prolonged smile. If I ever need something pushed out of the way, I'm gonna ask your sister-in-law.

I love it. God she must be strong. I have some earth moving I need done if she is interested!

Oooops, I think I moved. Can we try it again? Your sister-in-law, appearing so diminutive in relation to it all, looks she's creating a hole in the side of the massive rock, which resembles the planet Jupiter in color and patterns, Carin. That said, really a keen and highly imaginative capture!
wysiwig
Are you sure your family name isn't Atlas? Very funny and well captured. Now if she managed to push it over that would be a news story!

Well now Carin, that is just plain showing off and I hope she put it back where she found it !!!!!! :)

I am an avid fan of petrographic art. We have lots of examples of native art but so much is hard to get to or protected from the public. Can't wait to see what you ended up with. BTW, stellar shot of the s-in-l.
auntietk
How cooperative she is! LOL! It looks like you had SO much fun there. What a wonderful image!
