Description

Hi there. Some weeks ago we do some garden work in our kindergarten here. An old hedge must be stubbed and a new where planted. While digging the old stubs out we found this little pupa (about 10mm). I'm not sure which kind, but I'm sure it is a pupa of a moth. Could be an owlet moth or so. Hope you enjoy the closeup.

Ah, now you have a subject that will develop over time! You know what would be cool, but a little bit troublesome regarding keeping the camera on subject- but if you were to take a shot with the same positioning on a tripod, and same lighting once every day- you could do a time lapse of it's development!

I know it won't be, but it is very like the tomato moths that live in my greenhouse!
