Ronnie James Dio
July 10, 1942 – May 16, 2010
Ronnie James Dio (July 10, 1942 – May 16, 2010) was an American heavy metal vocalist and songwriter. He performed with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, and his own band Dio. He died of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010.

Par excellent dedication to this talented artist, Rose. They ran a piece about him and his career on television a few nights ago. Otherwise I would have never heard of him. Heavy metal and rock and roll rate extremely low on my list of interests.
