Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I know exactly where that is; and the feeling is worse at ground level! Excellent capture of a nightmare intersection!

I think I need more than a GPS to navigate here... Interesting shot. Aloha

Oh boy, another circuit board to marvel at! Stellar clarity and lighting in this image, M! As for the driving directions, no problemo! There is now a hi-tech device called a GPS on autos that eliminates any need for confusion when driving.

I like this! It does look like a circuit-board (remember when they were called breadboards?) The bluish tinge give it an otherworldly vibe that I like quite a lot, and the buildings are so incredibly regular while the Freeway curves and loops in what they'd call a "straight line" in Prague. I don't think Czech streets go straight, and this reminds me of navigating through that spaghetti tangle! Nicely seen and I love the business in this image; it's alive but not overcrowded or distracting.

Nice aerial shot indeed Yeap I would need the GPS to get around there I use one here and its not that bad lol..

And as you know, having driven there - the shortest distance between two points is not a straight line. And when they converge - O.M.GAWD.

so easy to get lost awesome capture warm hugs, Linda

No thanks! I wouldn't attempt it with the GPS, either. Soo has tried to kill us at least once! LOL!
