Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the overwhelming support of 'Trust and Love', you really are amazing guys, you made me feel so happy.
I am honoured that you visit my gallery, I love the kind comments, the faves and also many thanks to those who think me worthy of being one of their favourite artists.
The inspiration for this illustration for a fairy tale story within the Enchanted Lands, was predominantly all of you, who actually rescue me each time I come on here, so thank you for that my dear friends.
Also did you ever want to be rescued? I think all of us at some time in our lives either wish we could have been rescued by a knight in shining armour, or just captured by someone who could make all our dreams come true for whatever reason.
At a time when things were getting me down recently, I remembered those times as a child when I would play in the fields and woods near us, I would dream of seeing a unicorn coming toward me to rescue me, so was inspired to create this artwork.
So in short and within the fairy-tale, a motherless litter of kittens are found in the forest by fairies and they in turn find the Elfin Princess who rides out on her trusty magical unicorn to rescue the little babies, who actually aren't so tiny to the small inhabitants of the Enchanted Lands. The story has a few adventures, and eventually the unicorn finds the mother cat, and like all true fairytales it does have a happy ending.

Jane, a very full beautiful fairytale vision, worthy of a children's book. The rescue is of course center, but everything in the picture says protection and peace, in the way the horse is formidable but seems totally gentle with the cats, the way the cats look up to the horse without any fear (in fact they look in wonder), the way the woman's gown seems almost made of luminous threads (she's alit but in a deep forest green-blue, which feels very restful), the luminous greens all around--a fairytale forest through & through--and the luminous white outlines on all the trees, branches, leaves, etc etc. And the many white lights including those beautiful curved ones (like little discs all over the forest), as well as the fairy down below who seems to spread good will everywhere. And (I'm still not finished!) the way the cats are nestled in rather than standing or bounding, as cats might do in the presence of a large beast, and the beautiful light of the moon flowing down like water into the scene. (Not to mention the many details of grass, fern, plant, etc, throughout. Fine detailing.) I know you struggle, and that images like these have real meaning, but they do to all of us who come through difficult times. It's beautiful, childlike and so very well done---seamless, in fact, as if you dreamt it and it just came out on the page. Many blessings your way, I hope this finds you well, and even though I'm rarely here these days, it's always a pleasure to come to your gallery and walk in the magic of your art. what an heavenly image this is...I love the expression of the lady....so wonderful...also the moon on the background has something special......I read your story about stealing your work...I had exactly the same problem....I found my work and poetry on other websites without asking and link back....the best is not to post to big images...and put a copyright sign through the image.....to protect it a little more.....we never can stop this...how sad it is.....
