Description
Frank Frazetta passed away on May 10, 2010. He was one of the true greats in the realm of Sci-Fi & Fantasy art.
In 2008 there was a contest at DAZ for Frazetta inspired work, judged, in part, by Frank Frazetta Jr. and my piece "the Skull Collector" placed 16th out of several thousand entries. We were told that the man himself took part in the judging.
So when I heard of his passing this image popped into my head immediately. He will be missed by the artistic community and his influence will be felt by Fantasy fans forever.

Voilà l'ennui d'avoir des journalistes qui estiment être les tenants de LA culture et de l'art. J'apprends aujourd'hui le décès de l'artiste. bon ils faut dire qu'en France on a eu pas mal d'informations vitales que dis-je cruciales: LES BLEUS . égal du début à la fin de leurs prestations: NUL . la seule équipe à avoir perdue tout ces matchs. 1 j'ai horreur du Foot. 2 je doit me le farcir en émission sport , en interview , en magazine , au information et en reportage culturel. Alors forcément le génie de Franck Frazetta est secondaire. Mais il reste un maitre de l'héroïque fantaisie et garde une place de choix sur les rayons de ma bibliothèque . Adieu monsieur Frazetta

Nothing to say other than a nice tribute to a master of his craft, kudos to you for placing so well in the competition as well. This is a very nice image and a credit to his style, no doubt.
