Description
As mentioned on my previous upload, my young furry fella swam for the first time in his life yesterday! Another pastime he can now enjoy.
These aren't the best quality, but the look on his face was unbelievable. Anyone who says dogs don't feel pride (or just about anything else), doesn't own a dog! Barney came out of the water after his conquest of all that is wet and totally lost it! He grinned so much he dropped the stick and ran like the wind, weaving in and out of the trees at speeds that almost defied the laws of physics - almost! ^=^
It felt like magic, seeing a once unloved pup so happy!
As am aside, the water in this lake is very green. It is also harmless and the lake is full of wildlife.
Thank you for taking the time to look.^=^

These are great shots. Dog grins are unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. They're so...hilarious, especially when the dog in question is having such fun doing dog-ish things! These are marvelous shots and I love green (harmless) water as it reminds me of my childhood spent with one of my best friends (a microscope.) Green water in my neck of the woods always meant that I could get water samples full of paramecia, euglena, and the occasional rogue amoeba, as well as zillions of rotifers that couldn't seem to decide if they were protozoa or really intricate glassware! This shot brings back those memories, as well as provides a glimpse into new memories being made! Great work!
