Description

Here is #1 son atop ancient rock outcrop. Cornwall is full of granite rocks, many extremely high. They were for the most part thrown up during the last ice age, and are a marvel of different colours ranging from grey to pink. This particular outcrop is a few metres away from where I photographed the Viper posted earlier. Ahead of this rock is a drop of over 40 metres straight down into a ravine and we had a race to take the picture before we were overtaken by the mist rolling in from the sea a mile away. 10 minutes after taking this we were completely in the clouds. Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^

This is fantastic! I'm seeing this after a rather wet and foggy day in Chicago, but I didn't get to enjoy it as I was working! Oh well! It looks so peaceful there, so completely appealing on every level. This is superb work and I love the scale of everything. Marvelous!
