Description

Namibia 2010 The day we went to Walvis Bay I took several walks into the low dunes. When this image was taken the fog started to lift and the desert sand color was clearly reflected in the remaining fog! I am always amazed by the difference in the hue of the sky over the Atlantic versus over the desert! The tracks on the little dune in the foreground are jackal tracks. I am not touching base and really do not have nearly enough time to comment on all your wonderful uploads! So sorry! Marine air over the ocean versus dry air over the desert may be the reason for the contrast in sky hue. Superlative clarity, various color blends and foreground give this wonderful image terrific depth, Carin.
