Description

Namibia 2010 The day we went to Walvis Bay I took several walks into the low dunes. When this image was taken the fog started to lift and the desert sand color was clearly reflected in the remaining fog! I am always amazed by the difference in the hue of the sky over the Atlantic versus over the desert! The tracks on the little dune in the foreground are jackal tracks. I am not touching base and really do not have nearly enough time to comment on all your wonderful uploads! So sorry! Thank you for popping in and for your great support in comments and favs on my upload "Sentinel". Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

I am always amazed by that phenomenon. The first place I saw it was in your gallery ... I remember it well! What a beautiful image. I purely love that beach!

It's quite amazing to see a land with desert sand, ocean fog, and jackal tracks! What a world! What an amazing photo as well! I love the plant life in the foreground and the hazy, foggy background; one works perfectly off of the other, and you've captured such a sense of scale as well...this is amazing, and far more refreshing than a cramped, half-enclosed city! This is a marvelous shot!
