Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

The reflections of the poles in the background look great, as does the dark green of the water.

Serious rubber bumpers Great capture of the reflections of the poles

Actually she looks very well maintained topsides, and with fresh equipment here and there. Below the waterline they always look a bit needy as salt is tough on paint and it appears to be a wooden hull. She has many years of service left!

I should like to be at this place, it looks really attractive. A great shot!

I love your titles; they often make me giggle. I love this photo as well...you really captured the scene so perfectly and the mood too. That water is nicely mysterious and inviting at the same time, like mythic water nymphs live in it. The boat is perfect and I love the little bumper tires on it! This whole image is just perfect! Yeah, it's a goodie!

A very lovely shot. I like very much the reflections and colors of the water. Even the boat matches the water :)

Lots of busy contrast in this capture, Maz. If you want to get really tired out, try covering an auto show with tons of people milling about.

So that is where all those recycled tires go. Great shot and I guess that he has to do all he can to protect his boat. Dana
