Description

Yesterday I had to go downtown to get my new glasses. The building I went to has tons of glass and mirror and these domes that light the entrances. I took 28 photos in all but I won't show them all:-) I loved this building because of all the light, shadows, textures, reflections and the overall abstract quality. If you will zoom, you will see all the different things I mentioned. The photos I took were all on the first and second floor because i didn't realize that there were 6 floors! Next time I will explore more, I totally love that place! Hope you will enjoy some of the images I put up from there. I bumped the contrast a little, otherwise untouched. Thanks for viewing, for comments and previous favs! I will be commenting some today and tomorrow:-)

Over-the-top stellar in this capture, Lynn! Love that gridwork! I have some round dome shots back in my gallery, taken at the beautiful Huntington Library in San Marino, CA. And, is Rainastorm really your sister?

This is nicely exciting! It has a kind of "Buck Rogers" feel to it, since the future was supposed to be filled with all sorts of exciting buildings with interior courtyards and atria. I love the lines in this and the way the sense of color plays so nicely with the light/shadow/geometric combinations. This is really super work and I can easily see why you'd want to explore this building more. There's so much in this, and undoubtedly so much more to see. This is really fantastic.
