Description
I bought this from my good friend Dewey the very cool and very old greenhouse guy about a month ago and planted it. He had already had it bloom as small as it was and it was pink. I have read that Hydrangeas do not come in colors instead it's the alkaline or other stuff in the soil that gives them their color. I have seen some in people's yards that are killer blue. I am pleased that my soil made a rainbow:) (I use no pesticides and swoosh all fall leaves into the flower beds for free mulch if that figures in the rainbow calculation.) Thanks for looking...

I've always been interested to know how come some hydrangeas are both pink and blue, and I've found an interesting website. You can learn all about color change and other fascinating hydrangea facts at their hydrangea home page Too cool! I've seen a full-sized, well-established hydrangea that was sporting several colors all at once, so the "recently transplanted" theory can't be the only right answer. Thanks for providing me with the motivation to go check it out!
