Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I love the sunlight coming through the siding; I hope it is spared by the water for at least another 100 years!

The light and the composition really make this one interesting

It looks a great place to shelter. I wonder how long it is since they were used.

Terrific. If it ever collapses I wouldn't mind that wood!

how the sea do not take this. if it do you can go and find the redwood and build some with it in your landscapes then; make money for sure just selling the wood

The lighting makes the photo but a beautiful combination of patterns. Dana

I really like the colors. Those timbers are really cool too! I remember a slightly different view of this, with that X-Files flavored light shining through, and this has a little bit of that, but it's brighter and less spooky, but still moody as all get-out! I would love to visit this place!
