Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Well, like Stonehenge, you can still wonder who built it and why (why THERE!) Excellent image, like the contrasts!

As the sea, the landscape always changes. love the postwork on this and the B/W. It adds to the mystery!

Andrea is SO right, these do look like signal poles like they used on boats! Well seen! I like the black and white treatment too. There's a sense of mystery so I wonder if these will reveal some message when the stars are in the right conjunction.

Nice shot of the remains of a once useful barn.. Who know what the stars will reveal through these remains..

Nature reclaims its own. Another interesting image to add to your barnstorming files, Maz.
